Feb 19, 2016 - Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Half Moon Cay is a private island own by Holland America in Bahamas.  It is a 1,700-acre island — only two percent of which is developed — features a huge interior lagoon and a two-mile crescent of perfect beach with perfect blue ocean water.

After Westerdam docked, tender service took us to the marina, then it was all walking in this paradise island.  We walked on the beach all the way from south end to north end.

Holland American also prepared food at island’s dining area to serve us lunch.  After lunch, we strolled around Stingray Area, AquaTrax Adventure Area and then back to ship.  It was a very relaxing day on this private paradise island.

After dinner, we attended a Farewell Variety Show to enjoy all entertainers' performance one more time.   Then, it was time to pack for tomorrow’s disembarking.

Feb 20, 2016 - Back to Houston

The Westerdam docked at Ft Lauderdale in the morning.  We all scheduled for independent disembarking and got off the ship quickly.  Even we had different flights back to Houston, we decided to do the waiting in the airport.  We all got back home safely and had a wonderful one week of Caribbean cruise.

Thanks to JC and Peggy of planning this wonderful trip for us.  Good job done JC and Peggy!
